GESTiarium.org is an online collaborative platform. Our mission is to decipher humankind's gestual genome.
This project was started by Argentine photographer Guido Indij, and is inspired in previous research by Andrea de Jorio, Bruno Munari, Desmond Morris and Francois Caradec.
Here, you are able to upload, comment and share gestures representing your country and culture.
What do you need to do? Just keep an eye on your own and other people's body languages, and tell us what gestures are the most representative of your way of life.
You will also need a camera, an internet connection, and the desire to participate in this collaborative project.
